Former Iowa Wide Receiver Jacob Bostick visits Ole Miss

Former Iowa wide receiver Jacob Bostick will visit Ole Miss this weekend.

Ole Miss’ roster is arguably one of the best in the country. However, head coach Lane Kiffin is still looking for talent through the transfer portal. The newest player visit Ole Miss is former Iowa wide receiver Jacob Bostick.

With the wide receiver room stacked, it comes as a surprise that the Rebels are looking at a receiver from the portal. The decision to pursue Bostick could be made with the future in mind, as the former Iowa player is a 2022 recruit.

Bostick was a three-star recruit in 2022. However, he hasn’t seen much time on the court in his two seasons with the Hawkeyes, with no receptions. Ole Miss appears to be competing with Texas A&M for Bostick’s commitment, with the sophomore also looking at other teams.

There’s always a chance Bostick could play a role if he commits to the Rebels, although it appears Kiffin is working on the portal for the program’s future. The Rebels have several senior wide receivers on the roster who will leave after the 2024 season.
