Travis Kelce – but not Taylor Swift – spotted at Churchill Downs for the 2024 Kentucky Derby

There are some big reps at this year’s Kentucky Derby: Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted making the 150th run for the Roses.

Kelce was also spotted at Sports Illustrated’s Revel At the Races event, which took place Friday evening at the Ice House in downtown Louisville. Kelce was with his friends, The Chainsmokers, and danced with a group at an exclusive table all evening, according to a press release from RMG PR.

On Derby Saturday, Kelce was spotted in a white pinstripe suit reminiscent of 1920s fashion. On his head he wore a dark blue fedora.

In the days leading up to the Derby, there were rumors that his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift could also be in attendance on Saturday, along with Kelce’s brother Jason.

Swift kicks off her Eras Tour in Paris, France later this week. According to social media, her private plane was tracked to Paris on Saturday.

Swift has been busy this past year: her Eras Tour was the first time the singer has toured since 2018, selling out shows around the world. She made headlines again in 2023 after going public with her romance with Kelce.

And just two weeks ago, Swift released her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which broke streaming records.

The Kelce brothers were also in the spotlight, with Travis signing a contract extension that made him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL and a Super Bowl victory. Jason retired from the Philadelphia Eagles after thirteen years with the team and will take on a new role at ESPN.
